The DVD created from the video taken at the
Penton Owners Group display at the KTM National Dealer Meeting in August of
2005 is now ready. The DVD includes interviews with John Penton, Malcolm
Smith, Dane Leimbach, Doug Wilford, Al Buehner and a number of others.
You will hear much of the history of why the Penton Sportcycle was developed
by the man himself, John Penton. Find out the facts behind the creation of
the Hiro powered Penton, get a look at what KTM was building before it
started building the Penton Sportcycle. Hear Malcolm telling little know
facts about how the movie “On Any Sunday” was created. See over 80 Pentons
and KTMs on display at what had to be one of the most extensive displays
ever created to tell the Penton story and to show our respect to John Penton
at the time of his 80th birthday.
Reb and Ted Guthrie not only filmed this event, they spent countless hours
editing all of the video and interviews to create a very informative and
entertaining DVD that belongs in the collection of anyone interested in the
history of the Penton Sportcycle.
The Penton Owners Group is selling this DVD for only $10.00 in the hope of
selling as many as possible to get the Penton story out to as many folks as
possible as this is part of the group’s mission.
Free shipping and handling, and you do not have to be a member of the Penton
Owners Group to purchase this DVD.
